About IAPF

The International ArtsGames Committee licenses IAPF to unite percussionists worldwide. We bring together players from every cultural tradition to compete in the International ArtsGames.

IAPF trains percussionists in underserved communities. We turn rhythm into opportunity through education, competition, and global connection.

From youth in under-served communities to emerging cultural leaders, we empower individuals through rhythm-based education, global exchange, and real opportunity.

Our impact is rooted in partnership, cultural pride, and the belief that the arts belong to everyone.

Our Objectives

The objectives of the International ArtsGames Percussion Federation (IAPF) with respect to the ArtsGames drumming competitions are:

  • To develop, administer and regulate the rules governing the online Percussion competitions for the ArtsGames.
  • To generate and administer an online Percussion competition from across the cultural clusters of the world.
  • To prepare and present winners of the online competition in the different categories for the live auditions as well as for the maiden edition of the ArtsGames to be hosted in 2028
  • To develop comprehensive Programs for future competitions leading to World Championships, the Annual NAF Conventions, and other initiatives that should be planned throughout the year

About the International Artsgames Committee

IAC is a multi-disciplinary arts organization whose mission is to raise the visibility of talented artists from various cultures and communities. The first edition of the ArtsGames will be awarding gold, silver and bronze medals in music, dance, literature, visual arts and media arts competitions.

The ArtsGames will be hosted by a different city every two years, in partnership with the organizers of the world’s top artistic competitions through its International Federations.

What people say about the International Artsgames Percussion Federation.

'IAPF trained me for 3 months. I competed in the National Championship and now teach 40 students.

Samanta Edwards / Beneficiary

“IAPF didn’t just teach me drumming—it gave me purpose. I now run a youth percussion circle in my village and pass on what I learned. Seeing younger kids grow in skill and confidence is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever experienced.”

Ayo Bamigboye / Federation Member

“Through IAPF’s education program, I became a certified instructor. I’ve since led workshops in three countries and built a career I never imagined. What started as a passion has now become a life of impact and connection through rhythm.”

Kenji Tanaka / Instructor
